KUAKATA:

Kuakata is a sea beach of beautiful Bangladesh. It is the most beautiful sea beach in Bangladesh. It is also one of the most attractive place of Bangladesh. The name Kuakata originated from the word Kua English word “Well” dug on the sea shore by the early Rakhine settlers in quest of collecting drinking water, who landed on Kuakata coast after getting expelled from the Arakan (Myanmar) by Moughals. Afterwards, it has become a tradition of digging Kua-Well in the neighborhood of Rakhaine tribes for water. Locally known as Sagar Kannya (Daughter of the Sea) is a rare scenic beauty spot.
Innumerable devotees arrive here at the festival of ‘Rush Purnima’ and ‘Maghi Purnima’. On these two days they take holy bath and traditional fairs are held here. All these additional offers to panoramic beauty make the beach more attractive to the visitors. One should visit Kuakata and discover the lovely grace of Bangladesh.
The long and wide beach at Kuakata has a typical natural setting. This sandy beach has gentle slopes into the Bay of Bengal and bathing there is as pleasant as is walking or diving.
Kuakata is one of the rarest places to see the full view of both sunrise and sunset from the same place or same position. For that reason it makes Kuakata one of the world’s unique beaches.

Kuakata has a wide sandy beach. The Kuakata beach is about 30 kilometer long and 6 kilometer wide sandy beach.
Kuakata is the only beach in the world where travelers can enjoy sunrise and sunset view from the same beach. To enjoy the sunrise from the Kuakata beach one should wake up very early in the morning. At the evening of the day traveler will enjoy the attractive sunset.
The excellent sandy beach of Kuakata fascinates thousands of tourists to watch both Sunset and Sunrise on Sea. This pleasant environment is often visited by tourists who also make a trip to another surrounding destination. Kuakata is an eye-catching sea beach on the southern most part of Bangladesh. The long and wide beach at Kuakata has beautiful natural scenery. Kuakata is also the reservation of winter birds.

Beautiful places of Bangladesh- Naff River



Naff River:

Teknaf is famous and natural beauty for Hills, Naf River and Forest. By the side of Naf River you will see a lot's of Salt fields there. That increases natural beauty. From Cox's Bazar you can come Taknaf. It's about 85 Km. Road journey. There you can see many shopping market. One is called BURMESE Market. From here you can shop Burmese & Tribal Handmade materials.

You will see there, Wild animals and birds, but Journey on the river is the most interesting thing.

An enchanting scene is there that is Wide sandy beach in the backdrop of high hills with green forests that never to be forgotten.
Naff river is the border of Bangladesh and Myanmar. The Naf River's average depth is 128 feet (39 m) and maximum depth is 400 feet (120 m). Historically, Shapuree Island located at the mouth of the river, plays an important role and is considered as one of the immediate causes for the first Anglo-Burmese War.
But the natural view of this historical river is very nice and really attracts people from all over the world. It is a part of beautiful Bangladesh. Those people usually visit Chittagong district they don’t forget to visit the Naff River. Naff River is originated from the Arakan Hills of Myanmar and after flowing as a trans-boundary river, and finally falls into the Bay of Bengal. 
The river is having 1-3 kilometer width between the two countries at some places and the depth of the river is having 130ft an average depth and highest depth is 400ft.
Tourists of St. Martin’s island are being carried by the ship over the river. During the cruising, you can see lot of boats was floating over the river. Boatmen from the both country use to catch fish on a regular basis.



Finally, the river has lot of Seagulls flying around. I have seen my first Seagull at Naaf River.

Beautiful places of bangladesh- Nafkun waterfall



Nafakhum Waterfall

Nafakhum waterfall is the biggest and most attractive waterfall in Bangladesh. It can be treated as “Niagara Falls” of Bangladesh. It is also an excellent place for trekking. Stone and stone all around the place. In this extreme destination tourists can take all kinds of experiences like journey on zigzag hilly roads, journey by boat in the river of Sangu with trekking. This destination gives the true view of hilly areas. In every step through the journey tourists can feel the essences of nature and life style of the Mountainous people.

Location: Remakri, Thanchi, Bandarban
Climate Winter is the best session to visit Nafakhum.
How to get there
First reach at Bandarban by Bus. There are several bus services available and fare range around 550-600 BDT and will take 8-10 hours.
From Bandarban town you have to hire a 'Chander Gari' (One kind of Jeep ) to reach at 'Thanchi' upzila, cost will  3500 BDT. Thanchi is about 79 km away from Bandarban town.
Then need to hire a boat to reach 'Thanchi Bazar' located opposite side of the river 'Sangu'. At 'Thanchi Bazar' need to get permission from BD BGB and also must to take lunch for rest of the journey.
Then again start journey by boat. At evening will reach at 'Tindu Bazar'. One's need to stay overnight there.
At morning you have to start journey to 'Remarki' and the way is more challanging and dangerous. It will take 2.30 hours to reach at 'Remarki'.
Then need to start trekking by the side of 'Remarki Jhiri (Khal)'. Need to cross three hills too.
After passing some distance there will be no way to pass the 'Jhiri' by walk then need to swim or manage a boat to cross it.
After crossing the 'Jhiri', again need to walk about half an hour to reach the final destination 'Nafakhum' waterfall.

Where to stay:

If one can wish to stay at Thanci, can book Thanchi rest house and will cost 600 BDT for 7 people. At Remakri visitors can stay at local tribal houses and cost for each night will about 600 BDT for 10 people. There are also some 'Tribal' houses in Remakri to stay. The travelers should stay for the night at 'Remakri' and the tour guide will help to find a good place to stay.

Local restaurants are available in Thanchi bazar. Travelers should take their lunch at Remakri. There are some restaurants at 'Remakri' and per person lunch cost around 150 BDT.
Accessories needs to have Make sure you have a good physical fitness. Take fresh drinking water, water purifier and dry foods. Must take extra socks. Take at least two sets of clothes and torchlight. Keep 'bandaid' and 'Odomos'(mosquito repellent cream) with yourself. Better to manage 4 feet long bamboo stick and good trekking boot which can grip maximum.

HIMCHORI WATERFALL

Himchori is one of the attractive places of beautiful Bangladesh. This is a kind of tourist attractive place which make this country beautiful Bangladesh. Many attractions are for the tourists around Cox's Bazar. You can go Himchori to see its Waterfall, this is famous for waterfall, though in the winter season it dwindles but during the rainy season it's really a fabulous and full waterfall can be enjoyed.

Location:
Located 12 km south of Bazar Town and 6 km from the Kalatali beach by the hill.
Area: 1,729 hectares.

Getting there:
From Kalatali stand, it is only 15-minute ride to entry; if you take a taxi or chandergari (local transport). You can also rent a car from Bazar.

Beautiful places of Bangladesh- Himchori national park



Himchori National Park:

Park is a beautiful tropical rain forest (evergreen & semi-ever-green) around the South Asia. The park was established in 1980. This place is maintained, protected and secured by the government for the foreign tourists and the local visitors. The Park is not only attractive for the tourists it is also attractive for the biologist.
The park gets high forest, low forest & grasslands with a few trees. Around 58 species of trees, 4 species grasses, 15 species of shrubs, 19 climbers and 21 species of herbs altogether 117 plant species are available here. In the forest area there are at least twenty kinds of important herbs like Curculigorecurvata, Swintonia Florinda and Alpinianigra are available which most valuable plant are for the biologist.

The park is also considered as a paradise of birdwatcher. A lot of bird watchers are gathered here for the seeing the different kinds of birds, as more than 286 species of birds found there. Additionally, 55 species of mammals, 56 species of reptiles and 13 species of amphibians are found in the evergreen forest. A small number of elephants and leopard also found here. The US administration already made an agreement with Bangladesh government to induct tigers in to the forest areas.
Wild life: Elephant, Tigers, Capped Langur, Gibbon, Rhesus Macaque, Dhole, Sloth Bear, HirundoRustica, Indian Muntjac, Wild Boar, CypsiurrusParvus Leopard Cat, Jungle Cat, Fishing Cat, and Acridotheres.
Adventure: Picnic, Shooting and Bird safari .
Entry Fee: Tk. 5.00/ Person.
Present Visitors: 2,00,000 / Year.

Accommodation:
After visiting Himchari if you want to stay at night, should stay in Cox's Bazar. You will get a number of hotels and restaurants there with different budget. 

Note:
You can reach Himchari only by the beach. So, ensure you are back to town before high tide rise in the evening. It is not wise to stay here after sunset.
